As you saw in Part 1 we had a lot of fun getting in and out of trouble in the FJ.
Here are a few more pics from that adventure.
Although it’s gotten colder I’ve still been able to ride, and I’ve been enjoying a more balanced approach to training and the rest of my life. My mileage isn’t as good as it was in October, which was one of my best months ever, but it’s definitely the most I’ve ridden in November- even when I was still racing cross.
This weekend I’ll be going for a long ride with Spinney on Saturday, then splitting Sunday between directeur sportif duties at Carrie’s cross race then doing a photo shoot. Funny thing about that is that I’ll be the subject and helping out a friend buff out his action shot portfolio. I’ll also get some high quality promotional images out of the deal, so it’s legitimately a win-win.
After that I’ll be redoing my fitness test to see how I’ve changed since going on the strictly aerobic program. I’m interested to see how it comes out as I’ve completely changed the way I ride so I wonder how 12 weeks of that will impact the results. The big shock has already happened so I suppose the only thing that could change would be the intensity I train at over the winter which I admitted needed to change before the snow even melted.
I know it’s coming, but I just keep hoping the snow stays up high. Sure is pretty up there.
