Ralph Naef posted these pics of training camp with his new BMC team. BMC really beefed up their roster this season with the addition of Naef and multi-time world beater Julien Absalon. Here they are out for a ride in the Swiss countryside (Naef is on on the ‘cross bike).
He also posted pics of not only his new ‘cross bike but his new pump track bike. And yes, I’m officially on a pump track/dirt jump kick now as well.
While geeking out on other non-English Euro World Cup team media I found the site for GT Skoda Chamonix, the team of Cedric Ravanel, Cecile Ravanel and Lyne Byberg. In addition to some cool race photos and articles that I can’t read is this super cool pdf of their team bus that you can use to make your own printout pulp replica.
This is what it looks like
And here’s the link to download your own.

I’ve also been trying to sort out a winter wheel and tire combination so I’ve been combing through craigslist pretty aggressively. While doing so I stumbled upon these beauties- 911 25th Anniversary Special wheels by Fuchs. I’m not educated enough to know why they are so sought after, but I can admire their simple, timeless design.
Of course a 911 is on the long term wish list, but isn’t very feasible at the moment since you need at least a garage and a paved road/driveway to keep it pristine. With that in mind I’ve turned my attention…more accurately fixation… to the Mazdaspeed3 which is at least semi-attainable and semi-practical with its 5 door hatch configuration.
