I’m leaning against blue.
There are a variety of reasons for it but mostly it’s because many trade teams and even more local clubs/team feature blue kits, so for whatever reason I’m favoring green.
Here’s another dual green option.
The same color combo with more gray in the mid-section (dual green 3, I guess). This one is a possibility as the greens go well together and it looks neither too common nor too feminine.
Using a more subtle green here’s the gray core again.
BRIGHT GREEN. Not likely I’ll go this loud, but while I was fiddling around with the colors I threw it together.
Subdued, very subdued. Kind of a mint-ish gray that may be a little institutional but otherwise kinda cool. Not terribly visible though.
Now we’re getting into the meat of it- the Rover series. As I mentioned in a couple of posts I’ve been pouring over Land Rover Defenders recently and their simple, drab color schemes look cool on a vehicle but also would make a pretty sweet alt kit design.
This is Rover 1, a two color black and olive-y looking green/gray.
Rover 2, similar to above with light blue accents. Kinda seems like it’s a UN-looking deal with light blue and olive drab, but I like it regardless. Still alt, but a little more wearable I think.
Which brings us to Rover 3. Not sure I can really make this one fly. Very cool colors (literally), but again institutional and also not exactly going to show up well on the road.
Rover 4. Much like the olive/cyan from the last post but with more agreeable greens. Really digging this one actually, and the light blue makes it slightly less invisible.
This one keeps the Rover/UN theme going and makes good use of the drab/light blue mix.
I’m sick of my own indecision so I’m pulling the trigger this week just to save myself from…myself.
I’ll post the final proofs later on with pricing and details so you can get on the wagon if you’re interested.
