I’ve watched this one many, many times over on VHS.
Before cyclocross was as popular as it is today ‘cross-centric media was hard to come by. This tape and the odd article in VeloNews was about all we’d get in the mid-90′s, and all of it was carefully savored, scrutinized, and memorized. Every time I watched I’d hoped Luca Bramati might storm away with the win with his strong, low cadence style and smooth, never panicked demeanor.
It’s also cool to see World Championships held on a snowy course.
Speaking of snow I’m thinking this could be the Hampsten weekend. I’ve gotten the bike part down- even rode again outside today, so now ironically it’s the ski component that’s been the issue.
